HARD KNOCK RECORDS COLLEGE REP/INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Hard Knock Records is currently looking for passionate college students that have a love for music and a vision of social change, to join our team.  Our college rep program functions as an internship, meaning you get school credit but no pay.  Along with getting a foot in the door in the music industry, developing contacts and learning the basics of how a music label runs you will also get a lot of perks that come with the position (free cds, concert tickets, gear etc).

Unlike internships at bigger companies, where you spend a lot of time serving coffee and picking up lunch for your boss, at Hard Knock Records, you will be a an integral part of our daily operations and you will get hands on experience in Artist Development, Community Relations, Radio Promotions, Distribution, Lifestyle & Retail Marketing and Tour Support to name a few.

Activities for College Reps may include:

• Building relationships with Radio Stations, Independent Record Stores, Community Organizations and Promoters.
• Distributing promotional materials at shows or events.
• Coming up with marketing plans for our artists and/or projects.
• Scouting potential talent to sign to Hard Knock Records.
• Setting up album release parties, coordinating listening events.
* Working with like-minded organizations to continue our vision of Social Change.
* Working with campus organizations to bring our artist to your campus.

As our company continues to grow so will the full time paid positions.  The College Reps that show the most dedication and passion to our label will be the first considered for the gigs, as we would like to grow our team from within the label.
